NCC cadets of Govt SPMR College visit Blind School

JAMMU: NCC cadets (infantry and naval wings) of Govt SPMR college under the command of 2nd J&K Boys Bn led by Col PK Sinha visited Blind School to express compassion and solidarity with specially-abled children at Roopnagar and interacted with them.
The motive behind the visit was to inculcate moral and ethical values among the cadets to make them socially responsible for building their overall personality.
The Cadets performed a small cultural show to entertain the especially-abled children, in addition to this the children of the bind school also showcased their talent and enthralled everyone by their mesmerizing performances present there.
Principal of the college, Prof R.S Jamwal applauded the performance of the cadets and exhorted them to work for such sections of the society in particular and the country as a whole.
He also presented various items of utility to the inmates of blind school, such as stationery items, eatables and consumable goods etc.
The cadets were accompanied by Prof Sarabjeet Kour Sudan, Prof. Deepak Pathania, Prof. Shipra, Prof. Shelly and Prof. Roomi Rani along with Associate NCC Officer.
The visit was supervised and coordinated by Prof (Lt) Savita Jamwal.
