NCB organises cycle rally on ‘Drugs Abuse & Illicit Trafficking’

SAMBA: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Jammu on Monday celebrated International Day Against Drugs Abuse and Illicit Trafficking at Raya More, Distt. Samba in collaboration with BBIA& Emcure Pharmaceutical Ltd.
On this occasion, a cycle rally was organized by Narcotics Control Bureau, Jammu in collaboration with BBIA & Emcure Pharmaceutical Ltd. The rally was flagged off by Rajesh Kumar (Zonal Director NCB) and SDPO Vijaypur Priyanka in presence of Lalit Mahajan, President, Bari Brahmana Industries Association & Satish Kaul, Resident Director, Emcure Pharmaceutical Ltd and other Officials of the Department and members of Civil Society. About 50 participants participated in the Cycle Rally along with Seema Gupta who covers the route by foot. While speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Kumar (Zonal Director NCB) thanks Satish Kaul for taking a noble step to educate the Society and highlighted effect of the Drugs in the young generation and advised the participant to aware the General Public about the deadly effect of the Drugs. Mohd. Nawab (Superintendent NCB) also briefed about the ways one can avoid the use of Drugs & live a healthy life. Lalit Mahajan, President, Bari Brahmana Industries Association in his presidential remarks appreciated the steps taken by Narcotics Control Bureau, Jammu to educate the Society about the Drugs Abuses for which the awareness message can be given to General Public through Electronic & Print Media. Lalit Mahajan also urged the member present as well as Every Citizen of Country to “SAY YES TO LIFE NO TO DRUGS”.
While conveying the Heartiest thanks to Rajesh Kumar (Zonal Director NCB), Mohd. Nawab (Superintendent NCB) and SDPO Vijaypur Priyanka, Satish Kaul, Resident Director, Emcure Pharmaceutical Ltd. highlighted the steps taken by the Industrial Sector to aware the Industrial Workers about the Drugs Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and advise the participant to take an oath to eradicate the Drug manses from our State as well as Society so that every individual will be benefited. The Prizes for 1st Amit Samyal, 2nd Abhay Choudhary, 3rd Kirtan Saini Winner & Seema Kharyal Runner was given by Rajesh Kumar (Zonal Director NCB) and SDPO Vijaypur Priyanka.
