Narrow escape for 11 persons as bus stuck in gorge after skidding off road

BHADARWAH: Driver among 11 persons were narrowly escaped with minor injuries, when a private bus, they were travelling in, skidded off the road and stuck on a gorge, just 50 ft away from river Chenab Near Doda on Sunday morning.
According to reports, a bus bearing registration No JK02BK-7118, was on its way from Bhadarwah to Jammu. On reaching near Ganpat Bridge Pul Doda, the driver lost control over the vehicle, due to which it fell into gorge but luckily got stuck 50 feet ahead of mighty Chenab, after rolling down about 200 ft.
When contacted SHO Doda Mushtaq Jiral said, “Police and locals immediately rushed to spot and shifted all persons to GMC Doda, where all are said to be stable. A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation is going on.”
The injured have been identified as driver Pushpinder Singh (32), son of Sukh Dev, resident of Katra; Cleaner Susheel Singh (24), son of Davinder Singh, resident of Ramnagar Udhampur; Mohd Sabir (35), son of Ali Batt, resident of Gundna, Ashok Kumar (36), son of Roshan Lal, resident of Jammu; Vista Devi (33), wife of Sanjay kumar, resident of Bhadarwah; Arun Kumar (22), son of Ashok Kumar, resident of Bhalla Bhadarwah; Naseema Begum (45), wife of Ghulam Hadir, resident of Bhalla Bhadarwah, Inder Kumar (63), son of Amar Chand, resident of Bhadarwah, Neelma Devi (45), wife of Dharminder Singh, resident of Udhampur, Hamanshu (04), son of Sanjay Kumar, resident of Udhampur and Kamlesha Devi, (60) wife of Pritam Singh, resident of Bhadarwah.
