SAMBA: MV International School organized an online guest lecture for the students of classes 6th to 8th on the topic ‘COVID-19 Precautions during Cold Wave’.The session was taken by Dr. Bavneet Kaur Dang, Associate Professor, Punjab Institute of Medical Science (PIMS) and Consultant at Dang Nursing Home, Jalandhar.The main objective of this session was to aware students regarding the danger and spread of COVID-19 in winters and how they should gear up and take necessary precaution.Dr. Bavneet also explained how we can differentiate between a common flu and COVID.She shared some useful tips that can be applied at home in order to boost our immune system.It was an interactive session with the students and the guest, various questions and queries was answered by the guest.Students learned new healthy way of living that can be applied in their daily lives. It was a new learning experience for the students. Session was also attended by all the staff members of the school.
