JAMMU: Riding on a brilliant batting show by Musaif, Game Changer Cricket Club on Monday thrashed Rising Stars Cricket Club by 127 runs in the second match of the KCSC Under-19 Cricket Tournament, here.Earlier batting first after winning the toss, Game Changer Club put up a huge total 186 runs in 20 overs. Musaif played a fine inning of 87 runs while Kanhaiya also oplayed well and smashed 56 runs. Jugjap made 13 runs. For bowling side, Ritik took two wickets while Areen and Vinamar claimed one each.While chasing the target, Rising Stars Club failed to face the bowling attack of rival team and was bundled at meagre total of 59 runs. Ritik was the only player who tpunched double figures with 22 runs.Abhay Tandon grabbed three wickets and Samparak took two for Game Changer Club.Musaif of Game Changer was declared as Man of the Match.In another match, Vridhi Royals outplayed Jammu Tigers by huge 140-run.Jammu Tigers won the toss and elected to field first.Batting first, Vridhi Royals put a total of 199 runs. Archit played a powerful inning of 87 runs while Araya was also played well and made 63 and Jasveer scored 20 runs.Mannat claimed three wickets while Martvan took two and Bhuvesh scalped one wicket for Jammu Tigers.While chasing the target, Jammu Tigers was bundled at 59 runs. Shezad and Bhuvesh were the main scorers with 19 and 14 runs respectively.For Vridhi Royals, Tegvansh Singh and Gourav Sharma took three wickets each whereas Aryan Mahajan got two wickets.Archit Mahajan of Vridhi Royals was declared as Man of the Match.The matches were officiated Ashok Singh, Dinesh Kumar and Jarnail Singh.
