Mother-son nabbed with heroin

JAMMU: Police on Sunday nabbed a mother-son duo and recovered 50 gm heroin from their possession.
As per details, a party from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspr Deepak Pathania assisted by SI Charanjeet Singh while on Naka duty near JK Resorts, Railway Station road rounded up two suspects namely Vinod Singh, son of Mahinder Singh, resident of Village Mulechak, Bhai Veer Singh Colony, Amritsar and her mother, Tarsem Rani in a Etios car (PB02CC/ 2199). On search, 50 gm of heroin was recovered from them. The duo was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 65/2021 under sections 8, 21, 22 & 29 of NDPS Act was registered against them at Police Station Bahu Fort.
