JAMMU: People in Jammu and Kashmir would, for the first time in history, see a truly empowered grassroots democracy, entailing direct funding and decentralised decision.This was only possible due to the visionary policies of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi under whom the maiden DDC polls were conducted in the Jammu and Kashmir.This was stated by Yudhvir Sethi J&K BJP Vice President while interacting with people of Ward No 15 of Jammu City here on Monday.He expressed gratitude to the residents of Ward 15 for their overwhelming support to BJP in the DDC polls.Sethi asserted that tremendous developments have seen in J&K after formation of BJP led Government in Centre since 2014 besides.He added, “BJP has ended the decades long discrimination with the people of winter capital.”The senior BJP leader said that Prime Minister Modi has been working hard to develop each sector of the Nation besides has been on keep intend regarding the development of J&K UT.Later, Sethi met with a large number of people of the area and listened to their demands and grievances. He assured them that all their issues and demands would be fulfilled within a time frame and developmental works in the pipeline would be executed very soon.Among others who were present included Govind Sareen, Vageesh Gupta, Kartar Mahajan, Parveen Kerni Mandal President, Vipin Sharma, Savita Anand, Anita Gupta, Kiran Agarwal Varsha, Sandeep Dogra, Harvinder Singh, Ramesh Chander, Atul, Ajay, Sanju and Roop Lal.
