R S PURA: Constant steps are being taken by the Modi government at the Center for the betterment and development of the border people. The government took many historic decisions for Jammu and Kashmir which the previous government could not take in 70 years, said VK Singh.
Former Union Minister VK Singh who visited the border village Kotli Raiyan, for the BJP candidate Chaudhary Sham Lal from Block Suchetgarh in RS Pura District Development Council elections, said that getting the District Development Council elections in Jammu and Kashmir also historic The decision is because never before these elections been held in the state. He said that the previous governments had made big claims to strengthen the Panchayati Raj, but these claims proved to be completely hollow!
The former General said that the people living in the border areas are working as soldiers on the border and they also continuously boost the morale of the soldiers posted on the border. He said that the Central Government fulfilled an old demand of the people by removing Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, which opened up new avenues for development in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that people should also teach the Gupkar gang a lesson in these elections and such a lesson that they should not think of contesting elections in future!
Appealing to the people present, he said that they should give their valuable vote to BJP candidate Chaudhary Sham Lal and make him successful so that development in Jammu and Kashmir can happen at a rapid pace.
On this occasion, Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma also expressed his views and said that the Central Government had justice with PoK and Best Pakistani Refugee families and they were given permanent citizenship. He said that BJP’s performance in the District Development Council elections for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir is going to be better because people are getting full support of BJP.
A large number of local people were present on this occasion including BJP candidate Chaudhary Sham Lal, Municipal Committee RS Pura Chairman Satpal Pappi, Sarpanch Omkar Singh Sarpanch Akshay Kumar.
