Mishriwala Club wins opening match


Sub Sarfu Ram Sharma Memorial Cricket Tournament


AKHNOOR: Mishriwala Cricket Club won the opening match of the third edition of Sub Sarfu Ram Sharma Memorial Cricket Tournament inaugurated by Sham Singh Langeh, General Secretary JKCA District Jammu at Kodewala Cricket Ground, here on Saturday.
In the inaugural match, Mishriwala Club outplayed Master Blasters Kodewala by 65 runs. Batting first, Mishriwala Club scored 131 for the loss nine wickets. Vikas was the top scorer with 70 runs while Mohni scored 31 runs. For Master blasters, Raj Singh, Sikander and Love Singh grabbed two wickets each while Davinder got one.
In reply, Master Blasters was bundled out at 66 runs. vishal (22) and Vicky (13) runs were the main scorers.
For Mishriwala Club, Sunny claimed four wickets while Lucky took two. The tournament is being organised by Sanjeev Sharma and Davinder Sharma under the supervision of Kanta Devi, wife of late Sub Sarfu Ram Sharma.
Others presents were Sunil Ray Radha, Devi Dass, Gopal Sharma, Vinod Sharma and Shashi Sharma.
