Mayor starts development works, inaugurates entry gate at Town Hall



JAMMU: Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation on Monday kick started the development work by way of laying of cemented slabs as well as fixation of Iron Gratings over drains on the both sides of Lane No. 24 opposite temple near park at Rajpura Mangotrian Jammu of Ward No.33.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor told that it was the long pending demands of the residents of this area as they were facing great hardships due to open drains and the dirty water often over flows and even enters in the low lying localities and on the demands of the locals, this much needed development work has been started today with an allotted amount of Rs 2.64 lakh.
Nasseb Raj, Rajinder Singh, Krishan Verma, Balvinder Kumar, Rohit Kumar, Karan Sharma, Somnath and other prominent inhabitants of Rajpura and its adjoining localities, Ashish Bhasin Assistant Executive Engineer & other supervisory staff of engineering division- II & Health section of JMC were also present there. Besides this, mayor along Ritu Choudhary Councilor of Ward No.7 also inaugurated a well furnished entry gate on the side of main road leading towards Town Hall JMC Jammu.
Pankaj Gupta Joint Commissioner (Adm.), Dheeraj Jandial, Chief Accounts Officer, JMC Ajeet Singh Chopra, Joint Commissioner (works), Dr. Susheel Sharma Municipal Veterinary Officer, Firdoz Ahmed Qazi, Executive Engineer (projects), Laxman Singh Jamwal, Executive Engineer (Elec.), Neeraj Vaid Assistant Executive Engineer (projects) & other supervisory staff of various sections of JMC were also accompanied the Mayor.
