JAMMU: In phase-V of ongoing DDC elections, people came out in large number to exercise their franchise in Mandal Phallian-Satwari block for overall development of their area.It was stated by senior BJP leaders, Adv Amrik Singh (President All J&K PoJK 1947 Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum) and Surjit Singh (General Secretary), who visited various polling booths of the block and interacted with voters.The senior leaders further said that people, including men, women and elderly, from all sections of society, participated in DDC elections with great zeal, which are being held for the first time in J&K UT after abrogation of Articles 370 & 35A. “We hope that people have supported and voted in favour of party, as BJP with its motto ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’, is the only party which believes in equitable development of all.The success of BJP in DDC elections will further strengthen hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under whose leadership the country is moving ahead on path of development,” they asserted.
