JAMMU: A man was duped of Rs 12 lakh on pretext of going abroad. As per details, Jagandeep Singh, son of Ranjeet Singh, resident of Simbal Takri Miran Sahib approached Police Station Miran Sahib with a written complaint that Jasmeet Singh, son of Tejinder Singh, resident of Nanak Nagar, Sector 6 has taken Rs 12 lakh from him last year on pretext of sending him to abroad but till date neither he has sent him to abroad nor returned back the money.Police, taking cognizance of complaint, has lodged a FIR vide no. 01/2021 under Sections 120B & 420 of IPC and started investigation.
