LPG cylinder explodes in Amar Singh Club, 7 injured



JAMMU: At least seven persons were injured when a LPG cylinder exploded at Amar Singh Club, Jammu on Friday. As per the details, a LPG cylinder exploded in Amar Singh Club at Bikram Chowk due to leakage as a result seven persons injured and later fire also broke out in the premises soon after the explosion.
“Seven persons suffered injuries in the explosion and they have been rushed to the hospital,” police said.
Injured persons were identified as Surinder Singh, son of Karan Singh, resident of Billawar; Parkash Chand, son of Sukh Ram, resident of New plot Jammu; Daljit Singh, son of Daljinder Singh , resident of Miran Sahib Jammu, Muneer Hussain, son of Amir Hussain, resident of Kolkata at present staying at Vikram Chowk Jammu; Mustaffa, son of Moruimuilah, resident of Kolkata at present Vikram Chowk Jammu; Rajul, son of Hayder Ali, resident of Kolkata, at present Vikram Chowk Jammu and Tilak Raj, son of Prem Nath, resident of Billawar . Meanwhile, fire tenders were pressed into service which doused the flames. All injured were shifted to in GMC Jammu from where two were referred to Chandigarh on being critical.
