NOWSHERA: A number of passengers from Lam and Laroka held a protest and later met Tehsildar Nowshera, Babu Ram Choudhary on Thursday to highlight their grievances. They alleged that buses plying on Nowshera – Lam Laroka route do not adhere to fixed time-schedule and also charge extra fare from commuters.Tehsildar gave a patient hearing to passengers and called bus-agent for mitigating their sufferings. He also issued strict instructions that there should be no over-charging and if any complaint comes to his notice, stern action will be initiated against defaulters.
