STATE TIMES NEWSRAMBAN: A team of the Legal Metrology Department (LMD), Ramban, on Saturday inspected various business establishments at Nashri and adjoining areas to check on illegal activities besides ensuring implementation of extant rules.The team led by Inspector LMD, KK Verma booked three traders for violating the Legal Metrology Act and realized a fine of Rs 3000 from the erring traders.The department has also warned traders to desist from using unfair trade practices and appealed consumers to remain vigilant while purchasing various commodities.
