JAMMU: The ongoing agitation of lawyers practicing in Jammu wing of J&K High Court and Subordinate Courts, which started on October 15, 2020, completed 77 days on Thursday. The lawyers held Dharna in Janipura Court complex in support of their demands. The Lawyers Action Committee is carrying ahead the agitation in protest against continuation of suspension of normal functioning of High Court and Subordinate Courts since March 2020 and few other issues.The Dharna was attended advocates A K Sawhney (former president Jammu Bar), J A Kazmi (former vice president), K K Pangotra, H C Jalmeria Convener of Action Committee, C S Gupta (Former Secretary Jammu Bar), B R Sharma (Former Vice President Jammu Bar), S C Mansotra, Shah Mohd Choudhary, R S Raju, Subodh Singh Jamwal, J P Sharma, Manohar Gupta, A S Azad, Meharban Singh, Daljit Singh Manhas (former president Young Lawyers Association), Kunal Chib, Abrar Ahmed Khan, Manohar Lal, Abdul Rouf Lone, Pawan Kumar Kundal, Danish Singh Jamwal, Rajiv Kumar, Arvind Singh Jalmeria, Mulkh Raj, Bhavishya Sudan, Gourab Sharma, Pooja Devi, Upasna Thakur (General Secretary Young Lawyers Association), Pooja Devi, Alisha Kohli, Sarita Kumari, S Z Ahmed, Raghubir Singh, Gagandeep Singh Lucky, Ashwani Chouhan and Varun Singh.
