STATE TIMES NEWSKATHUA: Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Education, NH Rajbagh Kathua conducted a National Webinar on 7th International Yoga Day. During the webinar participants from all over the country were present. Resource person for the webinar were Dr. Hemant Kumar Malhotra (Ayurvedic Medical Officer PHC Randhawa Masandan), Dr. Rupali Kohli (Ayurvedic Medical Officer PHC Chitti Jalandhar), Dr. Isha Singla (Ayurvedic Medical Officer PHC Bolina Jalandhar). In their discourse Dr. Hemeant Kumar Malhotra said that how yoga in post COVID phase helping the society to overcome the stress and prevent isolation. A good and healthy life style leads to a happy life. During this COVID Pandemic Yoga Has become most popular exercise. Dr. Rupali Kohli in her address make the audience aware about different types of Yog Mudras and how these Mudras help in preventing from different types of diseases. Different Yog Mudras perform different functions and helps in maintaining the physical as well as mental stress.Dr. Yogesh Kumar speaking on the topic importance of Surya Namaskar makes the audience aware about different steps of Surya Namaskar and how each step is helpful in maintaining the stress free environment. Dr. Isha Singla in her address share how “Nada Brahma Meditation A Boon in COVID Pandemic” she also share how this Asan is helpful in maintaining positive attitude. Our positive thoughts have direct effect on our health. A positive mind set help in achieving the set goal.The webinar was organised by the IQAC Committee of College, Under the Supervision of Principal Dr. Brij Bala Kohli, Priyanka Sharma. Sandeep Sharma and Vinod Verma made all the technical arrangements for the webinar. Speaking on the occasion Principal Dr. Brij Bala Kohli welcomed all the participants and said that the time through we are going has created negative wives of fear among everyone to overcome from this negative condition Yoga is the only medium of overcoming this negativity.
