JAMMU: Completing 100 days of its agitation, the Lawyers Action Committee (LAC) besides holding Dharna, conducted public meeting at Dharna site in Janipur Court Complex on Saturday, which was addressed by its convener H C Jalmeria, A K Sawhney (former Bar President), J A Kazmi (former Bar vice president), M U Slaria (former Bar vice president) and Meharban Singh. They expressed anguish over silence maintained by Judiciary and Govt authorities towards the demands projected by Lawyers Action Committee since October 15, 2020.The Dharna was attended by advocates C S Gupta (Former Secretary Jammu Bar), B R Sharma (Former Vice President), Rajinder Kumar Chanyal, Iqbal Singh, Sabodh Singh Jamwal, Vijay Sharma, J P Sharma, Manohar Gupta, S C Sharma, Kunal Chib, Manohar Lal, Abrar Ahmed Khan, Meenakshi Slathia, M S Qureshi, Umesh Sharma, Dinesh Singh Jamwal, Mulkh Raj, Chetan Misri (former Jt Secretary Jammu Bar), S Z Ahmed, A M Khan, Gourab Sharma, Atul Raina, Ravinder Kumar, Harmit Kumar Sharma, Kamal Mangotra, Upasna Thakur and Mubassar Yousuf.Meanwhile, the Lawyers Action Committee delegation visited Aam Aadmi Party office and submitted memorandum to its convener Om Parkash Khajuria. Delegation comprised H C Jalmeria, A K Sawhney, Meharban Singh and Gourab Sharma. AAP leaders present were O P Khajuria, Mehar Singh, Rajkumar Nischal, Ravi Shastri, Gurmeet Singh, Rajesh Bali, K.K Rao, Raman Sharma, R.S Chouhan, F.A Bandey and Amit Langer.
