KVS Jammu region organises toy fair



JAMMU: A toy fair was organised at K V No 2 Jammu Cantt on Friday. It was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dy. Commissioner KVS (JR) Dr. D. Manjunath. It was organised on virtual platform by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in which 39 schools from five clusters of the Jammu region participated.
Assistant Commissioner RO, Jammu, T R Chaudhary was the Guest of Honour on the occasion. The theme of the toy fair was to use these unique and creative items as a tool for learning process.
The various activities that were conducted for the fair were making of craft work, toys, games puzzles, puppets etc.
The schools were required to submit videos of the activities that were done there.
The toy fair competition was first organised at school level and then at the cluster level in which 5 clusters were participated (Kargil, Srinagar, Udhampur, Jammu and Bantalab). Four participants from each activity was selected for the final competition.
At the regional level there were 80 entries in all, out of which 16 were selected.
