JAMMU: Urging Govt to extend date of filling-up of forms for PM package posts, the Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Mahasabha (KKHM) has demanded creation of 35,000 more reserved posts for Kashmiri migrants and non-migrant unemployed youth.While addressing a meeting through teleconferencing with Kashmiri migrants unemployed youth, Ramesh Chander Mahajan Chairman KKHM urged Govt to extend date for filling of forms for PM Package recruitment of 1997 posts from Jan 5, 2021 to Jan 31, 2021.He further said that it has been observed that there is a lot of resentment amongst migrant and non-migrant unemployed youths who could not fill up form in given time and need more time to get relevant documents including domicile, Bonafide, Migration and others from concerned departments for participating in selection process.He further appealed to the Govt to issue directions to JKSSB for filling-up /absorbance of pending recruitment for all posts, list of court cases and waiting list of candidates, who are protesting from long time. “Relaxation should be given in smooth conduct of competition for written test and examination for providing job to each and every non-migrant and migrant unemployed youth,” he added.More than 25,000 migrant employees have retired since last 31 years from various Departments, but Govt has failed to fill up same with migrant youth, he added.“In recent advertisement of PM package large number of Posts are reserved for SC /ST/OSC, despite fact there are no such categories amongst any other caste of Kashmiri Pandits /Hindus. It should be considered under existing category of Open Merit (GC and other reservations),” he added.
