BANDIPORA: Kishanganga Power Station Bandipora on Saturday celebrated the 46th Raising Day of National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) by organizing a Blood Donation Camp and Plantation drive in the district. The General Manager (HOP), Ashish Kumar Chouksey, inaugurated the Raising Day ceremony by lighting the lamp along with other senior officials. On this occasion, the Kishanganga Power Station officials pledge to serve the nation and Jammu & Kashmir by providing much needed power in addition to extending helping hand to the local people. Meanwhile, a blood donation camp was organized to commemorate NHPC Raising Day. The officers and staff members including women from the project families participated in the blood donation camp with enthusiasm. Later a plantation drive was undertaken at large scale on the barren area near TRT outlet.
