JAMMU: A minor girl, who was allegedly kidnapped by a man, was recovered on Sunday.
As per details, family of a girl from Bantalab area in Jammu, lodged a complaint with police alleging that their daughter has been kidnapped from the market. “A written complaint was received at Police Post Chinore yesterday by father of a minor girl about her daughter, who had gone missing since December 2, 2020 and he had suspicion that some unknown persons might have kidnapped her,” Police said adding that an FIR No. 354/2020 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Domana in this regard.
After hectic efforts, police team under guidance of SDPO Domana DySP Kousheen Koul led by SHO Domana Inspector Chanchal Singh along with IC Police Post Chinore SI Deepak Bharti assisted by ASI Bashir Ahmed recovered kidnapped minor girl from Bermean, Ramnagar and arrested accused person namely Dharmandra Singh, son of Lakhan Singh, resident of Lamsar, District Anupur (MP), presently staying at Bantalab. Further investigation of the case is going on.
