JAMMU: The indigenous game of Kho-Kho is on the rise in India with Defence Forces including it as a regular discipline for recruitment in sportsmen category.A office memorandum has been issued in this regard by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.In fact, it was an initiative of the Kho-Kho Federation of India, who approached the Government through its Director, Subash Kumar in the recent past for inclusion of the game in Defence Forces as a regular discipline.
