World No Tobacco Day
STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: The World No Tobacco Day is observed every year on 31st May to make tobacco users aware of the opportunity to lead a healthier life.NSS unit of KC College of Education on Monday organized an online Quiz Competition on the topic “Commit to Quit”.The main objective of organizing this event was to aware students about the hazardous effects of using tobacco and how health problems can be tackled by doctors when one quits smoking.About 200 students from eleven different colleges participated in the competition with full enthusiasm. All the participants with marks above 70% were awarded with e-certificates of participation.The quiz was organized by Priya Gupta, NSS Program Officer under the overall guidance of Dr. Sanjay Tickoo, Principal of the College.
