Kathua & Udhampur Admns accord warm farewell to outgoing DCs

UDHAMPUR: District Administration Udhampur on Friday evening organized an impressive farewell party for the outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Indu Kanwal Chib on her transfer as the Mission Director, Rural Livelihood Mission J&K.
All the officers present in the function extended their best wishes to the DC for her new assignment. She thanked the District Administration for organizing such an impressive farewell and also thanked the officers for their active support and cooperation during her tenure. She also expressed her gratitude to the people of Udhampur for the respect and love showered by them on her.
DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, Mohammad Suleman Choudhary; SSP, Dr Vinod Kumar; ADDC, Kanta Devi; ADC, Mohammad Syed Khan and District heads of line departments were also present.
Meanwhile, Members of J & Private Schools Association of Udhampur also accorded farewell to the outgoing District Development Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib. This function was attended by Ajay Gupta General Secretary J&K PSA, Jammu who was the special invitee besides prominent citizens’. District President Ram Parkash, Thomas Ooman, Vineet Gupta, Siddheshwar Sadotra, Shakti Sharma, Anamika Gupta, Bhawana Gupta, Anita Kumari, Siddharth Shanker, Manoj Sharma, Kuldeep Choudhary also spoke on the occasion .
Later, as a mark of honor and affection, mementos along with bouquet were presented to the outgoing DDC Indu Kanwal Chib.
KATHUA: District Administration Kathua organised a farewell programme for the outgoing Deputy Commissioner Rahul Yadav at his official residence on Friday. The programme began with an invocation by Registrar Suresh Kumar Sharma, who in his welcome address threw light on the initiatives and achievements district Kathua has attained during thirteen months long tenure of outgoing Deputy Commissioner.
On the occasion, a colorful cultural bonanza was presented by troupes of District Information Centre Kathua.
While summing up his stay as Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Yadav said “Kathua district shall remain close to my heart as I have served my IAS probation period in the district besides thirteen months as Deputy Commissioner.” SSP R.C Kotwal; DC State Taxes Ranjeet Singh; ADC Billawar Sandesh Kumar Sharma; ADC Basohli Tilak Raj Thapa; district, Tehsil and sectoral officers were also present.
