KATHUA: At Lakhanpur, District Administration on Thursday received 100 PPE kits donated by Retd. IGP Police Jagjeet Kumar in collaboration with VA Technologies as a contribution towards battling against the spread of COVID-19. Deputy Commissioner Kathua Om Parkash Bhagat and SSP Kathua Shailendra Mishra were also present on the occasion.The Retd. IGP handed over 100 Personal Protection Equipment kits to Chief Medical Officer Kathua Ashok Choudhary for further distribution among the Frontline workers performing duties in Lakhanpur Sample Collection Centre and other staff dealing with the COVID-19 related duties.The DC appreciated the gesture of the donors who have extended help to the district administration. He said this would help the medicos and other front line workers to perform COVID-19 duties in secure manner.
