Vijaypur: Provincial President, Jammu, Manjit Singh on Saturday remembered Kargil martyrs who laid down their lives for the country. In a statement to the press, a function to remember the sacrifices of martyrs who fought bravely to defend borders of the country.Former Minister, Manjit Singh, Provincial President, Jammu garlanded the photo of Hawaldar Kulbir Singh. Speaking on the occasion, Manjit Singh said that the bravery and courage of the officers and soldiers of Indian army should not be forgotten.“They have laid down their lives. We should teach our young generation to follow the footsteps of the martyrs,” said Manjit Singh.
