JAMMU: Welcoming decision of the Government to reopen schools from February 1, 2021, President Private School Association, Kamal Gupta termed it a positive step in the best interest of students.In a press statement issued here, Kamal Gupta said that schools, which were closed for a long period of around 11 months due to outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, will now reopen now as per SOPs and directions issued by the administration of JKUT.“Opening of schools is a positive and welcome step in the best interests of students, provided all schools maintain and follow guidelines religiously, as issued by the administration to keep check on COVID-19,” he added. Kamal Gupta said that academic activities will commence from February 1, 2021 and hoped that teachers shall attend their respective schools with high dedication and responsibility. He further urged all teaching fraternity and administrations of schools to ensure safety of students by observing all prescribed precautions in letter & spirit.
