STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: On the occasion of Jyeshtha Amavasya, people bathed in Devika river with full religious devotion and performed Jalabhishek to Swayambhuling Umapati Mahadev at Shivpuri Parmandal.However, due to Corona, the number of devotees in this Amavasya was very less.For the people who believe in Sanatan Dharma, there is importance of bathing, donating in Shivpuri shrine on this festival.It is worth noting that the Mahadev temple of Parmandal Shivpuri Dham is looked after by the priests of the Dharmarth trust and even during the Corona period, from the worship of the temple to cleanliness and the convenience of the passengers, following the COVID SOP, they are doing it with full devotion.
