JAMMU: Amidst chanting of Vedic hymns and other religious rituals, New Year ‘Panchang’ in the shape of calendar published by Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust (JYBT), was released here today by its president, Pawan Kumar Shastri, along with all Trustees.Gurdas Sharma, General Secretary of the Trust, said that due to COVID-19 pandemic, Trust by observing all the precautionary measures devised by the Government has performed Puja-Archana in a simple function in Thakur Dwara. Pawan Kumar Shastri said that this was the 22nd edition of the Panchang Calendar which was started by the Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust in the year 2000.He further said that this Panchang Calendar-2021 issued by the JYBT have the complete information about the various Hindu festivals dates with brief about the special appearance days of the Lord, besides various Hindu rituals fast, Utsav, Panchak falling from January 2021 to December 2021.The Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust as usual is committed to send the copy of the Panchang to its respective members, if any of the member who does not receive the copy of the Panchang the same can be made available to him from our office which he may collect personally, Shastri said.
