JAMMU: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) on Friday demolished two unauthorized constructions here at Sidhra.
The JMC’s enforcement staff led by the Chief Enforcement Officer and Assistant Enforcement Officer demolished two boundary walls constructed in violation of norms. One among the two was constructed by Sameer Rashid Wani, son of Abdul Rashid Wani at Sidhra, Jammu and the second was constructed by some persons whose identity has not be ascertained yet.
The aforesaid demolition drive was held under the directions of Mandeep Kaur IAS, Commissioner JMC and under the supervision of R.S Jamwal KAS Joint Commissioner (Administration).
The demolition was executed with the help and co-operation of Police Force from Police Post, Sidhra, Jammu and District Police Lines Jammu.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation has appealed to the general public to refrain from making illegal constructions and get building plans whether commercial / residential approved from Jammu Municipal Corporation otherwise action as admissible under rules leading to demolition / sealing of the building will be taken.
