JMC demolishes unauthorised construction

JAMMU: Under the supervision of Joint Commissioner (Adm), the Enforcement Staff led by the Chief Enforcement Officer Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), while further continuing the drive vigorously and acting tough against the violations and unauthorized construction in the different areas and have taken the action.
The team demolished the three unauthorized construction of shops being raised by Subash Sharma, son of Mani Ram at Neal Sheel Vihar, Main Road, Paloura, Jammu; Sealed five Shops of Mohd Farooq Khan, son of M.Y Khan at Channi Rama Opp Police Line, Jammu and also sealed six shops of Rizwan Ali, son of Naziq Ali at Channi Rama Opp Police Line, Jammu. JMC also sealed shop of Bhagat Ram, son of Kanshi Ram at Main Road, Bhawani Nagar, Janipur, Jammu.
The action against the violation have been taken under the provisions of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988 and J&K Municipal Corporation Act 2000
The Jammu Municipal Corporation once again appealed to General Public to refrain from encroachments and unauthorized constructions otherwise action as admissible under rule leading to demolition / sealing.
