JMC demolished unauthorised constructions

JAMMU: Under the supervision of Joint Commissioner (Adm), the Enforcement Staff led by the Chief Enforcement Officer Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), while further continuing the drive vigorously and acting tough against the violations and unauthorised construction in the different areas falling under the jurisdiction of Jammu Municipal Corporation and have taken the following action:
The team demolished three unauthorised construction of shops being raised by Subash Sharma S/o Mani Ram at Neal Sheel Vihar, Main Road, Paloura, Jammu, sealed five shops of Mohd Farooq Khan S/o Sh. M.Y Khan at Channi Rama Opp Police Line, Jammu, they also sealed six shops of Rizwan Ali S/o Naziq Ali at Channi Rama Opp Police Line, Jammu and sealed shop of Bhagat Ram S/o Kanshi Ram at Main Road, Bhawani Nagar, Janipur, Jammu.
The action against the violation has been taken under the provisions of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988 and J&K Municipal Corporation Act 2000.
The JMC once again appeals to general public to refrain from encroachments and unauthorized constructions otherwise action as admissible under rule leading to demolition or sealing.
