UDHAMPUR: Monthly Meeting of JK Teachers Association was held in Shiv Palace Udhampur on Sunday under the leadership of its UT President Bhupinder Singh and District President Udhampur Sudesh Kumar and was attended by large number of teachers from different Zones of District Udhampur.While Speaking on the occasion, UT President Bhupinder Singh raised the long pending issues of Teachers fraternity which includes Transfer Policy in favour of Teachers appointed under Ret Scheme (3rd Teachers ,Gradell/lll Teachers) and Particularly for female Teachers , Inclusion of 5 Years ReT period for seniority benefits as same was given vide Govt. Order No.469 Dated 25.06.2014 , Removal of Pay Anomaly of teachers as teachers of J&K UT are placed in the pay grade of 2800 whereas teachers of other UTs are placed between grade pay of 4200 to 5000 , Appointment of ZEOs in headless zones so that teachers may not suffer , Conversion of left out RRETs to Teachers Grade II/III as some cases are withheld due to adverse CID reports on minor changes , Appointment of ZEO in Zone Ramnagar , DPC of teachers to Masters and creation of posts of masters in upgraded middle schools so that salary issue of head teachers be resolved , issuance of Diploma/Marksheet to teachers who passed D.Ed through NIOS online mode with less than 50%Marks as the Teachers with offline mode have received the same even having less than 50% marks and Restoration of Old Pension Scheme in favour Teachers fraternity and other Employees.District President Udhampur Sudesh Kumar also spoke on the occasion and appealed Zonal Education officers of District Udhampur to resolve the Pending problems of the teachers at Zonal Level so that the Teachers may not suffer.Moreover Zonal Sr Vice President of TJAC of Zone Ramnagar Ajay Sharma today Joined JK Teachers Association and said that JK Teachers Association led by its UT President Bhupinder Singh is only hope for Teachers fraternity to resolve the Pending issues of Teachers fraternity.Prominent among the meeting includes UT Coordinator Sunil Salaria, UT Finance Secretary Sanjeev Guleria, Provincial Secretary Nasib Chand, Provincial Special Secretary Kuldeep Chand, Kuldeep Singh, Karan Chand, Gopal Singh, Pardeep Sharma, Summit Khajuria, Varinder Partap, Surinder Khajuria, Randip Singh, Darshan Singh, Jagdish Kumar and Kuldeep Singh.
