JKSC Secy recovers from Covid, resumes work

JAMMU: Secretary J&K Sports Council, Naseem Javaid Chowdhary has recovered from the COVID-19 and has resumed his work after fighting the virus for nearly three weeks.
After testing positive for the Corona virus, Javed Choudhary was admitted to Naryana Hospital where he had fast recovery.
Soon after resuming his office, Secretary took a meeting of the senior officers of the Council and office bearers of the Sports Association to finalise the schedule for Premier League for Jammu and other left out districts of Jammu Division today.
After the deliberations, it was decided to commence activities from next week in all four sports disciplines selected for the League.
Secretary gave much impetus on remote districts where activities are to be held for the first time. He directed all members to work as a cohesive unit and to make this event a grand success. He also informed that we are shifting our focus from infrastructure to activities now. He also informed that from next year we are planning to organise Premier League in 10 different sports disciplines which shall be a regular feature in sports activity calendar.
The opening of Premier League at Jammu shall be held at KK Hakku Hockey Stadium and we have requested Lieutenant Governor to preside the function for encouragement of players and officials.
