STATE TIMES NEWSR S PURA: Jammu Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee (JKSAC) has urged all political parties of J&K to project all issues of Displaced Persons before the Prime Minister in the All Party Meeting called by him on June 24, 2021.During a meeting of JKSAC held at R S Pura under the chairmanship of Kanta Sharma, Sarpanch Lower Badiyal, the participants requested all former Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of erstwhile J&K State along with heads of all political parties to highlight all issues pertaining to DPs in the all party meeting, including registration of their claims for left-out properties & compensation thereof and de-freezing of their share of Assembly seats.JKSAC members further requested them to mount pressure on Union Government to accept and implement Joint Parliamentary Committee report No. 183, under which ex-gratia relief of Rs 30 lakh has been recommended for each DP family along with other components.Those who spoke during the meeting included President JKSAC Gurdev Singh, Dwarka Nath Khajuria, Om Parkash (Naib Sarpanch) and Tilak Raj.
