UDHAMPUR: In an introductory meeting with District Development Commissioner Indu Kanwal Chib, with the representatives of JK Private Schools Association, district Udhampur a series of issues were raised by the members.Apprising DDC, members said till date FFRC has failed to regularise the fee structure of most of the private schools functioning in J&K UT as it has further extended the time period for the submission of files by the private schools up to May 10th, 2021 vide order No: 51 FFRC of 2021 dated 23.03.2021. Apprehension regarding the circulation of some unwarranted orders / circulars by the district administration cannot be ruled out as some miscreants are propagating misinformation in the society regarding the collection of fee by the private schools for the academic session 2021-22 that none of the private school can charge tuition fee until and unless approved by the Committee for Fixation and Regulation of Fee of Private Schools (FFRC).General Secretary of Central Executive body of JKPSA, Ajay Gupta briefed to the District Development Commissioner that FFRC has already allowed the private schools to collect fee without any enhancement for the academic session 2021-22 vide order no. 45 FFRC of 2021 dated 18.02.2021.To dilute any type of propaganda against the private schools, involvement of representative of Private schools was also demanded. District Development Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib listened to the members patiently and said that her main focus is to serve the public so that they can stay peacefully without any pull and pressure. Ram Parkash (District President) Thomas Oommen, Siddheshwar Sadotra, Seddharth Shanker, V.M Sharma, Rakesh Gupta and Ankush Verma were also present.
