JAMMU: Likewise the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and Indian Olympic Association (IOA), the Jammu and Kashmir Olympic Association (JKOA) has decided to come forward to support those athletes in distress and need help in the difficult time of COVID-19 pandemic.“In the ongoing second wave of the pandemic, it has been decided by the JKOA to help those sportspersons, coaches and support staff in the Union Territory of J&K,” informed General Secretary of the JKOA, Dushyant Sharma.A decision in this regard was taken by the Association in consultation with JKOA president, Dr Ashutosh Sharma and other senior members. “If any sportsperson of international and national repute as also those coaches and individuals from support staff need financial assistance they may contact the JKOA on Mobile Nos. 94191-44550 and 94191-83222.Subsequently, the JKOA has directed all the affiliated units to spread the message among the athletes and coaches and help them get the much needed support at this hour of crisis
