JAMMU: For the first time in the history of the game, Jammu and Kashmir clinched bronze medal in the 33rd Senior Women National Tug of War Championship held at Goverdhan Stadium, Agra in Uttar Pradesh.On their return, the winning team called on the President of J&K Tug of War Association, Hardeep Singh Anand, who felicitated the team and appreciated each member for historical victory.Earlier, briefing the Association president, manager of the team, Sourabh Dubey said that it was a close 2-1 win for J&K against Rajasthan.The Team: Vasvi Gupta, Arti Billoria, Sumira Gani, Gitanjali Sharma, Suman Balla, Suraya Rashid, Shamsun Nisa, Amrita Sani, Hamia Gull and Sameena Rashid. Team was accompanied by Kiran Kumari as coach while Sourabh Dubey was Manager.General secretary of the Association, Jodh Singh Isher vice president, Jasbir Singh and Ajay Peshin were also present.
