J&K Volleyball team leaves for Youth Nationals

JAMMU: J&K UT Youth Volleyball Men team left for participating in 24th Youth National Volleyball Championship for Men & Women to be held at Islampur, District Sanlgi in Maharashtra from May 10 to 15, 2022.
Prior to proceeding for National participation, the team underwent 10 days intensive coaching camp organized by Volleyball Association of J&K with the collaboration of J&K Sports Council at MA Stadium Jammu under the supervision of Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer (J), J&K Sports Council Jammu and Volleyball Coaches Aashiq Hussain and Imtiyaz Ahmed.
Sidharth Daluja President Volleyball Association of J&K, H.S Gill Executive Vice President, Raj Guru Senior Vice President, Vijay Kumar Magotra Hony. General Secretary, R.C. Sharma Treasurer and Kuldip Magotra Chief Executive Officer of the Association of J&K distributed sports kits and track suits among the players and officials and also wished the team for good result in the national championship and upholding the image of J&K UT in volleyball at national level.
The team was screened by Ashok Singh, Divisional Sports Officer (J), J&K Sports Council and Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Sports Complex MA Stadium.
TEAM: Irfan Ali (Srinagar), Aman Singh (Jammu), Taskin Amin Bhat (Doda), Mohit Sokolia (Jammu), Jasbir Singh (Jammu), Shamin Ahmad (Kupwara), Rohit Singh (Jammu), Lovejeet Singh (Samba), Nazakat Lone (Kupwara), Zakir Nasir (Kulgam), Rohit Singh (Jammu) and Nitin Sharma (Kathua).
Subash Sharma, Aashiq Hussain and Imtiyaz Ahmed are accompanying as manager and coaches of men team.
