JAMMU: The 43rd Stag State Table Tennis Championship, organised by J&K Table Tennis Association, started on Saturday at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.
The competition was declared open by Chief Accounts Officer of the J&K Sports Council, Zaffar Iqbal while Dr Ratnakar Sharma was Guest of Honour.
Interacting with the organisers and the participants as well, the chief guest encouraged everyone present at the venue taking the initiative.
Prominent among those who were present included Satbir Singh, Rajan Sharma, I.P Singh, Satish Gupta, Ajay Sharma, Saleem Bandey, Ashok Singh, Gurvinder Singh Sasan, Vasu Dewan, Sandeep Khadotra, Narinder Singh, Sheetal Gandotra and Sanjeev Gupta.
Matches were officiated by the technical including Gurvinder Singh Sasan, Sandeep Khadotra, Vasu Dewan, Meenu Rajesh and Asad Sharma.
