JK Public School Panjtirthi celebrates Christmas

JAMMU: The essence of Christmas came alive at JK Public School (JKPS) Panjtirthi when the Jakians and teachers got together and shared the Merriment. Jakians preformed enthralling dances that added to the festive atmosphere. Little toddlers sang Christmas carol with grace and charm. The spirit of Christmas was truly manifested by a skit about the birth of Jesus Christ presented by Jakians. These performances were interspersed with some fun games organised for students. Jakians spread cheer with their smiles and beautiful attires.
Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi Suman Banbah said, “Christmas is the season of joy, peace, hope, love, sharing and caring.” She also distributed Christmas gifts to the well dressed students. The fairies of JKPS Panjtirthi added grace, piousness, innocence, beauty to the celebration and welcomed the audience.
The Principal released balloons in the air with the message of love, brotherhood , happiness and to pray for the national peace and prosperity. She wished merry Christmas and happy new year to one and al . The Principal organised a GK quiz competition for students and winners were rewarded.
Nisha Chopra , the Teacher Incharge of the celebration spoke about the true meaning of Christmas and the significance of the ornaments that were hung on Christmas tree like shiny star, the silver bell the red and white candy, the wreath, the candle and the Santa.
