Jammu: India is a secular country with diversified cultures and the significances in their own kind. As an endeavour to solidify the bond of oneness and unification JK Public School Kunjwani celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on 31st October 2020 to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.A virtual assembly was organized to extend gratitude to the iron man of India. The programme started with an impressive speech by Antriksh Verma Head Boy of the School on the life, history and the role of Sardar Patel in the establishment of a harmonious society.Students of classes 4th to 10th with their teachers took an oath to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation in the spirit of unification of the county. On this auspicious occasion, the school organized an array of activities wherein the students were engaged in the Slogan Writing and Posters making.Students of class 11th attended the quiz on the theme of knowledge, traditions practices and heritage of India.The video clips of this mega event and the creativity shown by the students in the form of colourful posters and bold slogans about the life history and contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel towards making of India, were uploaded on the school Facebook. The aim of this mega event was to infuse in the young future generation with values integrated with the knowledge and adoration about the country’s rich heritage.The events organized the entire day were fun filled and motivational for the students.
