JAMMU: The J&K Kick Boxing team on Saturday left for participation in the WAKO India Cadets and Juniors National Kickboxing Championship 2021 to be held at Pune in Maharashtra from December 21 to 25.
The event is being organized by Amature Sports Kick Boxing Association of Maharashtra under the aegis of WAKO India Kickboxing Federation.
Earlier, the selected team underwent screening conducted by the J&K Sports Council (JKSC) officials at MA Stadium, here today.
The team was introduced with the screening committee members by general secretary of the Kick Boxing Association of J&K, Abhishek Jain and coaches, Fasil Ali and Irfan Choudhary.
The team led by contingent head, Abhishek Jain and accompanied by coach Fasil Ali and Irfan Choudhary.
The Team: Ahmad Faraz, Sheikh Usman, Mohammad Mohtashim Wani, Amaan Showkat, Syed Mohammad Nazim, Umar Ali Sofi, Mohammad Hazim Rather, Fazil Ahmad Wani, Saniya Shabir Bhat, Najh-ul-Nissa, Tahira Inayat, Fiza Farooq, Owais Bilal Wani, Zainab Mushtaq, Ubair Bin Nazir, Janvi Jamwal, Mehak Jamwal, Agriya Sharma, Arun Mehra, Nitish Singh, Danish Sharma, Monish Singhagal, Shivansh sharma, Rahul Bagal, Rajveer Singh, Atul, Abhimaniyu Sharma, Manik Kumar and Syed Ali.
