KUPWARA: An elderly man was allegedly manhandled by staffers and security guards at a J&K Bank branch in Lolab area here on Monday afternoon.One Ghulam Haider Mughal had come to withdraw money at the bank branch who after hours of wait outside the bank premises asked the security staff to allow him to enter the branch.However the security staff and few staffers caught hold of the person and dragged him, locals alleged.The elderly person, they said, suffered injuries on his hands and arms. The locals demanded a strict action against all those involved in the incident. “I have apologized to the person and assure that strict action will be taken against the person involved in the incident,” Bank Manager JK Bank Branch Sivere Manzoor Ahmad.
