Jammu Vishal U-19 Cricket team flagged off



Jammu: Member Indian Cricket Association and former Ranji Player of J&K, Shahid Parvez on Tuesday flagged off Jammu Vishal Cricket Club U-19 team to participate in the three matches cricket series of 40 overs game with Amandeep Cricket Academy which shall be held from January 14 to 16, 2021 at Amandeep Cricket Academy, Amritsar.
The team was flagged off from Green Field Cricket Ground Jammu.
Shahid Parvez appreciated Rajesh Gill and other members of Vishal Club for arranging the cricket series with the Punjab boys at Amritsar with the objective to provide platform to Jammu boys so they can showcase their cricket skills while playing with other state players.
He also advised the cricketers to play as a cohesive unit, motivate each other, try to perform well and to increase your self confidence.
He advised all the players and staff for strict compliance of guidelines to tackle covid i.e. using mask at all times, washing hands regularly, avoid handshakes with other players during match or post match ceremonies etc.
Rajesh Gill also informed that our players will chance to interact with the Sr. Cricketer/ National Selector Harvinder Singh and India A player Manish Sharma during the matches.
Others present on the occasion were Avinash Uttam, Madan Mohan, Sanjeev Mahajan, Amit Sharma, Javeer Singh, Davinder Sharma and Rajinder Sharma.
