Inter-wing Sports Meet held at SKPA Udhampur

UDHAMPUR: To promote sports culture and to keep the trainees physically fit, an Inter-Wing Sports Meet was held in the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, here, which culminated on Monday.
SSP Mohan Lal, Assistant Director (Outdoor) who was the Chief Guest on the occasion interacted with both the team and wished them display of best skills in the matches.
He said that the sports meet has been organized on the directions of Director SKPA Udhampur/ADGP Security S.D Singh Jamwal.
He said that the trainee officers (Prob. Sub-Inspectors) actively participated in the sports meets.
Final matches were played between Red Wing and Blue Wing and Blue Wing was declared winner.
PSI Aziz Ahmed No.585/PAU was awarded Man of the Match.
Mohan appreciated the efforts put in by the organizing team headed by DySP (Outdoor) Sunmati Gupta assisted by CDI Inspector Shankar Bhadur.
Instructors HCs Bishan and Tahir Mir (Lower Class) performed as Umpire. And PSI Vineet Rukwal, PSI Javeed Maqbool and Instructor HC Wahid were commentators in the final match. Mohan congratulated the winning team and wished them good health.
Among others, Suraj Singh DySP (R&D), K.K Sharma DySP (Q), Ramesh Kataria DySP (S), Tahir Hussain DySP (Admn.), Vikram Parihar Sr.PO and Inspector Vishal Manhas RI of SKPA Udhampur were also present on the occasion.
