KATHUA: Chief Patron and Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Rural Development Society (JKRDS), Mubarak Gul batted for initiating amicably a talk of peace and prosperity between India and Pakistan to resolve all the conflicts between the two neighbouring nations. “It will be a fruitful step to establish peace,” Gul said while addressing an event conducted by the JKRDS at village Dollian Jattan in District KathuaHe said that the society will inculcate a powerful temperament among the youth to look after each and every problems of the rural old age persons and their parents also.Feeling regret that corona pandemic did a great loss, Gul said still there is need of face-masks, hand sanitizers and social distancing too.“Today the innocent youths are trapping/capturing themselves in the net of drugs which is a world crime and self-suicide among youths is in constantly alarming level while the farmers are continuously committing suicide which is a evil and national loss,” he said.“Now the time has come when the JKRDS will work on four pillars that is eradication of drugs from the grass root level, stoppage of self suicides, plantation derives and serve all the old age persons which are the main objectives of the JKRDS,” he said.The volunteers of the JKRDS along with panchayat members will now go to BDO Offices, self help employed offices, DC offices to provide help to the rural people of Jammu and Kashmir and will not stop until the condition of the rural peoples have not entirely changed, he said adding that the young volunteers will organise the blood donations camp for the better health of the rural people.Gul said that deforestation is the major cause of the pollution the JKRDS is cultivating the trees by plantation drive at each nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir. The event was conducted by Vice-Chairman Rampal.In the meeting, Sham Lal Chairman JKRDS counted the genuine problems faced by the rural people of Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed deeply that the poverty stricken people of the village Billan Jattan are constantly crushed by the present UT Govt of Jammu and Kashmir.There is total turmoil by not providing the widow pensions to the old age widows for a long time. The problem of electricity, irrigation systems to the villagers’ health hazards and the condition of the people of the villagers is thoroughly pathetic, he said.K. L. Abrol Chairman JKRDS said the present business scenario of Jammu and Kashmir is more than deadwood. There is dearth in the market due to wrong business policies of the present govt.Younis Mubarak Chairman Youth Wing of JKRDS said about the moral values on which the society is tirelessly working since it was established.Jb. Qazi Jallaliudin, former MLC of NC and Secretary of the JKRDS spoke that the work done by the JKRDS is unforgettable.Babu Rampal said that the JKRDS will deeply address the problems of old age pensions, distribution of rural work to poverty stricken villagers under multiple schemes from Directorate offices.In the meeting, Ashok Koul Chairman Migrant Cell, Press Secretary Subash Chander, Raja Rafiq, Dr. Y.P Singh, Nissar Gul, Satpal, Bharti Sharma, Said Ali, Sher Ali, Sham Narayan Mehra, Mir Parvez, Pankaj and Pardeep were also present.
