Husband, in-laws detained for woman’s suspicious death

Our daughter has been murdered, we have proofs, alleges parents

SAMBA: A man and his parents were detained by police for his wife’s suspicious death in Samba district on Saturday.
As per the details, a women identified as Palvee Gupta, wife of Abhishek Badyal, resident of Ward No 8, Bantalab Samba was found dead in her house and was shifted to hospital where doctors declared her as brought dead.
On receiving the information, Palvee’s parents reached the hospital and alleged that their daughter has been murdered by her husband Abhishek Badyal, who is journalist by profession, as he used to harass and beat her.
They further said that before her death Palvee sent whatsapp messages to her family that she is coming back home as her in-laws and husband Abhishek may kill her. “I am being beaten up daily by my husband, I am very much disturbed and they (Abhishek and his parents) may kill me,” Palvee sent this message to her parents a day before her suspicious death.
In the morning when parents called Palvee, her in-laws told them that she suffered heart attack late night and died.
Samba Police has started inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC. Police has found marks of injuries on Palvee’s face and body. Her parents have demanded strict action against Abhishek and his family members for murdering their daughter.
Meanwhile, police has detained Abhishek and his parents. Pertinent to mention that Palvee Gupta and Abhishek Badyal entered into wedlock last year after they met on social media.
