JAMMU: Expressing resentment against step-motherly treatment of J&K UT administration towards Homoeopathic doctors, the Homoeopathic Medical Association of India (J&K UT) on Thursday urged the administration for considering Homoeopathic doctors at par with other doctors and should be provided equal opportunities & share in jobs.Speaking during a meeting, held under the chairmanship of Dr B R Dubb (President of Association) and Dr Raj Kumar Arora (Working President of Association), the members of Homoeopathic Medical Association of India unanimously resolved to approach Mission Director NHM, Director ISM&H and Department of Health and Medical Education of JK UT to expressed resentment against policies of Govt regarding Homoeopathic Doctors, as in recent advertisement of NHM for Certificate Programme in Community Health, the authorities hadn’t allowed Homoeopathic graduates to apply. “Homoeopathic graduates are well versed with subject of Community Medicine as same is taught to them for a year. Moreover, Homoeopathic graduates are equal to graduates of others systems viz Unani and Ayurveda, still NHM hadn’t consider Homoeopathic graduates for the course,” the members said. They, in one voice, resolved to approach Court of Justice to get their due right of equality. The members also demanded for opening of Homoeopathic Medical colleges in Jammu now as Ayurveda and Unani Colleges have been approved by Ayush ministry and started in J&K. Others present in the meeting included Dr Ranjan Tuli, Dr Gautam Tuli, Dr Satish Kumar Attri, Dr Neena Verma, Dr Anish Sharma, Dr Zaheer, Dr Sobia Zargar, Dr Harish Pratap Singh, Dr Abdul Wahab, Dr Ambrin Anjum, Dr Aishwarya Wazir, Dr Mohd Arfaz, Dr Sushma Devi, Dr Suman Bharti, Dr Madhvi Sharma, Dr Gousia Taneem, Dr Mohd Usmaan, Dr Jansher Khan and Dr Satish Sharma.
