STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: In two different petitions filed by Deepak Sharma and Gagan Deep, Court directed respondents to allow petitioners to participate in interview/Medical Examination, the process of which is going on, and appoint and select them against the post in pursuance to the Advertisement advertised vide Notice No. F.No. 3/2/2OI7-P85P-I dated July 21, 2018 on basis of final result of the petitioners.Justice Sanjeev Kumar of J&K High Court Jammu Wing, after hearing Adv Ankur Sharma for petitioners whereas ASGI Vishal Sharma for UOI, allowed the petitions and directed respondents to consider and appoint petitioners against the post of Constable (GD) that has fallen vacant due to non-availability/non-selection of candidates under ex-servicemen category, the discrepancy noted by the respondents notwithstanding. Court further directed that a formal order of appointment of petitioners be issued by the respondents within a period of four weeks from date copy of this order is served upon the respondents.
